We had a fantastic time in your chalet, a really lovely family holiday. We loved the peace and the views. We rode bikes, walked and swam and it was all superb.
We didn't get a chance to say goodbye to your neighbours as they weren't around when we were packing or leaving, they were very kind and helpful.
The Multipass is great and free for 5 year olds and under. We got far more than our money's worth by using the lifts and going in the lovely Morzine pool, it's a very good offer.

Great stay at the chalet on the opening ski weekend in December. Had a lovely stay. Was kept lovely and warm with the log burners and enjoyed the fabulous views and countryside. Kitchen was really well equipped. Perfect stay and a great get-away. We hope to return in the summer months to enjoy more of what the mountains have to offer.

Notre séjour s’est trés bien passé. Nous avons aimé le chalet Papillon. Beaucoup de neige, aussi.

We’ve all had a great time, all a bit tired though. Great, we were lucky with the snow. It’s warming up today so timed it well.

Back from the mountains, I wanted to thank you for the very nice stay we had in your chalet and a special thanks for all small attentions that were waiting for us. We had a great time we could get some passes in Avoriaz and enjoy the great weather.
I wish all the best to you and your family for the coming year.

I want to let you know that we had a fantastic week! The house is really nice!!
We had good weather and the snow was perfect! The children enjoyed the lessons.
I hope we did everything right by leaving the house. We have thanked Mr Eric, give him the keys ( and a bottle of wine!).

Have just spent a lovely week in the chalet on a first time ski trip. The chalet was easy to get to in the rental car from Geneva airport (approx hour drive), and on arrival we found everything we needed to make our stay easy and comfortable. Especially helpful to have a kitchen fully stocked with utensils and modern kitchen appliances so we had everything we needed to cook when it suited us. Was an easy drive to Les Gets from the chalet (20-25 mins), and the resort was perfect for first time skiers. Had a very relaxing and enjoyable week. Staying at the chalet was like staying in a home from home. Can’t wait for our next trip!

We have had two skiing holidays this year and have stayed at this chalet on both occasions. The chalet was ideally situated for the different ski resorts in the area. The chalet was very comfortable and well equipped. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The snow conditions were excellent this year and we all had fun on the slopes. If you want a family holiday this is a perfect place to stay.

We spent a week’s skiing holiday at Chalet Papillon and had an absolutely wonderful time. The chalet is situated in this little ‘hameau’ with beautiful views all around. The house itself has a real traditional feel to it – with all the luxuries of modern day. We spent many an evening in front of the cosy fireplace! We are all pretty experienced skiers and were looking for a bit of a challenge. The skiing turned out to be great with a couple of very good skiing areas and some pretty adventurous slopes at only a 20 mins drive away. We would love to come back some time in the near future!

August 2011 – We have just returned from a 2 week holiday in Chalet Papillon. We had a great time. The owners were very helpful, sending us lots of information about the area and the multipass before we left. The chalet was very clean when we arrived and very comfortable with everything we needed. It is a traditional chalet with lots of lovely features and has great views of the mountains. It was good for our family to be able to spread over both apartments. It is in a quiet spot up a narrow lane but it is easy to visit lots of places such as Morzine and Les Gets. The multipass is a fantastic way of being able to do a lot of activities with a family at a very reasonable cost. We enjoyed using the pass to go up many chairlifts and walking up high, as well as visiting swimming pools and lakes. The position of the chalet also means you can easily visit towns and villages on the shores of Lac Leman. We especially enjoyed visiting Evian town and the fanatastic swimming pool and lakeside swimming area there.

We stayed at the Chalet both last summer in August and this winter in March. This is the first time that we have been to the Chalet in the summer and we had a great time. The Chalet is ideally situated in the summer with the pretty towns of Morzine and Les Gets to visit. We took advantage of the multi-pass which enabled us to take various ski lifts up the mountains giving us spectacular views and the opportunity to walk in the beautiful countryside. We even used the lifts it to get into Chatel in Switzerland . Lake Geneva is close by and we particularly enjoyed the lakeside beach at Excenevex, about half an hour away, facilities include children’s play area and pedaloes, it is particularly suitable for children as it is sandy and shallow.
We also had the thrilling experience of white-water rafting , a short drive from the chalet.
The Chalet is very comfortable and well-equipped. We were a group of 8 and having the two apartments gave our extended family space and privacy. The large kitchen in the upstairs apartment was ideal for us to eat together as a group.
We have stayed in the Chalet for many years enjoying the skiing in the area. It is close to the resorts of Les Gets, Morzine and Avoriaz, You do require a car to get to the resorts, but we have not found this to be a problem as roads are cleared of snow regularly.

We have stayed at the chalet both in summer and for winter skiing and can say that it is a perfect venue for both!
• Beautiful location – summer walks outside the door with fantastic woodland with a variety of birds and wildlife. We were particularly entertained by the neighbour’s goat, who took to showing off everytime we walked by! Great for site-seeing, less than an hour away from the lakes and even closer to some stunning alpine villages. We found some great and inexpensive places to eat overlooking wonderful landscapes.
• Chalet is well equipped and the owners very keen to ensure we had everything we needed.
Less than half an hour away from Morzine and Les Gets both fantstic resorts for family skiing. A good network of trails extends over the resorts and great for beginners. Don’t forget to try Avoriaz fantastic in the snow.

My family and I have stayed at this chalet many times. We have enjoyed great ski-ing holidays. Everybody can get what they need from ski-ing here. With Morzine, Avoriaz, Le Gets so close, the scope is endless. There is enough in these resorts to suit all levels of skiers. Not to mention the apre-ski as well. We have also enjoyed great walking holidays during the summer months. There is much to keep a family occupied for a couple of weeks. Morzine has a great swimming pool. You can go rafting on the river and biking on the mountains. We found the chalet clean, well equiped and very comfortable. The wood burning stoves are amazing as are the views from the lounge and bedroom window. There are good shops and a supermarket in the local village of St Jean du Alps and a great bakery in Le Biot. We as a family will certainly be returning again, as will our friends.
