  1. My family and I have stayed at this chalet many times. We have enjoyed great ski-ing holidays. Everybody can get what they need from ski-ing here. With Morzine, Avoriaz, Le Gets so close, the scope is endless. There is enough in these resorts to suit all levels of skiers. Not to mention the apre-ski as well. We have also enjoyed great walking holidays during the summer months. There is much to keep a family occupied for a couple of weeks. Morzine has a great swimming pool. You can go rafting on the river and biking on the mountains. We found the chalet clean, well equiped and very comfortable. The wood burning stoves are amazing as are the views from the lounge and bedroom window. There are good shops and a supermarket in the local village of St Jean du Alps and a great bakery in Le Biot. We as a family will certainly be returning again, as will our friends.

  2. We enjoyed our stay immensely – the chalet was clean, with large rooms and attractively furnished (although the living quarters in the bottom flat were less spacious). The location was lovely; not high peaks, but beautiful views all round. We stayed a fortnight, but only went down to Lac Leman once since there were so many excellent walks in the area. The multipass made a huge difference, allowing us to plan walks from ski lifts without concern for cost. One drawback is that you certainly need a car, it is a long hike down to the nearest, not very frequent bus. We were a large family group, and thus constrained to always travel together, but this did not mar the holiday. Lac Montriond was beautiful and good for swimming, but decidedly cold. The house was very well equipped. We took both parts, but all 6 of us ate together upstairs. There are 3 bedrooms, with sofabeds in both lounges. There is no separation between the sitting area and kitchen downstairs apart from a curtain, so I imagine it would be rather cramped if that area were also used for sleeping. We would certainly return. We would recommend for families, including teenagers, as long as they like walking.

  3. We have stayed at the chalet both in summer and for winter skiing and can say that it is a perfect venue for both!
    Summer
    • Beautiful location – summer walks outside the door with fantastic woodland with a variety of birds and wildlife. We were particularly entertained by the neighbour’s goat, who took to showing off everytime we walked by! Great for site-seeing, less than an hour away from the lakes and even closer to some stunning alpine villages. We found some great and inexpensive places to eat overlooking wonderful landscapes.
    • Chalet is well equipped and the owners very keen to ensure we had everything we needed.
    Winter
Less than half an hour away from Morzine and Les Gets both fantstic resorts for family skiing. A good network of trails extends over the resorts and great for beginners. Don’t forget to try Avoriaz fantastic in the snow.
