Pricing & Availability

Chalet Papillon is offered for rental as a whole chalet. Prices shown are based on 8 persons with access to all floor levels.

Booking & Payment

If you have seen a week that appears available and wish to secure your booking, you have two options.

1. Complete the booking form (either online or by post), and then send us a cheque for the booking deposit of 25%. We accept cheques in either Euros or Pounds, made payable to Jane & Alan Mason.

2. Complete the online booking form and send us the 25% booking deposit by Paypal / credit card and reserve your chosen week, subject to availability. All being well, we’ll then email you to confirm your reservation.

Final payment is by way of cheque or UK bank transfer, or Paypal (credit card) at a 3.4% surcharge to cover their fees. The choice is yours!


Booking Terms

  • Lettings run from Saturday 4pm to following Saturday at 10am unless otherwise agreed.
  • Electricity charged additionally during winter season, and these weeks are marked * Currently charged at 13 pence per unit or 0.15 euros. In the summer there is an allowance of £25 per week. Additional used is deducted from the security deposit.
  • The cost is £10 per person for provison and laundering of sheets and is added to the final payment with also the security deposit. A local tourist tax is also payable for all visitors to the area at 0.65 euros per person per night and is also required with the final payment.
  • A security deposit of £200 per week (or 230 euros) is required, payable at time of final payment with the cost for sheet laundering.
  • Electrical consumption in the winter shall be charged additional at 13p per unit and deducted from the security deposit.

25% of the full cost is required as payment at the time of booking. This may be refundable on cancellation subject to certain conditions being met, which are detailed in full on the terms and conditions page.
